I downloaded this app as Chicagos airports are short staffed in security, and lines are approaching 3+ hours. This app is completely useless for this data: if the wait exceeds 30 min, all you see is 30+. If Im traveling two hours to get to the airport & need to plan in advance, the specific time makes a huge difference. Fix this or its not helpful!

Lets get real and display the actual times above 31 mins. 31+ doesnt cut it. If you want a limit then make it 150+. Get some real sampling feedback. Collect the data upon entry into the line and then when the phone is scanned at check point. You cant improve what youre not measuring.

The app continues to crash since the December 2015 update when it opens and tries to get updates from the TSA server. Guess they cant get that working. :-(

Seriously, 31+ minutes could mean 3 hour wait. Within 5 minutes time, a terminal goes from zero minutes to 31+ minutes? If its that backed up maybe they should open the check point sooner. Add more time slots, so real information is available.

Like others, I figured out the maximum wait time it will report is 31+ minutes -- which is useless if the wait is actually 60+ or 90+. Apparently, TSA doesnt want to be embarrassed or held accountable if times are over 30 minutes. If you want to change the airport, you have to turn the app off and back on. Otherwise, it still shows the one you were already looking at. At one point, it was showing the flight delays at JFK but right underneath it still had the wait times for SFO. Cant the government hire any COMPETENT programmers to design (and test) software?

As other reviewers posted, 31+ is a useless indicator of maximum wait time.

As mentioned by others (was hoping there had been an update), the mental giants in our government have the wait time capped at 31+ min as the max wait time you can post. What the he!! Is that info worth if the real wait time is 2 hrs. TSA yet again lives up to its horrible reputation.

Absolutely useless. Its based on users information providing personal experiences at different times and gates. Very bad app.

Totally useless. It will only tell you the exact wait *up to* 31 minutes. Thats right... if the wait is 31 minutes or 1 HOUR & 31 minutes you wont know using this app. There are a lot better apps out there for wait estimates (such as MiFlight). For what its worth the wait in Ohare memorial weekend was a lot better than it was earlier this month, though this app still wont tell you if the weight is 1 hour or 3 hours :/

I downloaded this app hoping to get an accurate representation of the current wait times, but with 31+ minutes as the max offered time, there really is no point in checking the app at all. If TSA paid someone to develop this app its a complete waste of time and money. Dont bother downloading it.

Having this broken down below thirty is not nearly as important as knowing the wait is 2 hrs vs 30m.

If we have to bear up under the illusion of security foisted on us by the gestapo TSA, why not tell each other what to expect at the airport today? This is actually a nice little tool to adjust your expectations when heading to the airport. The only real problem is that not that many people seem to used it so postings tend to be too old to be of much use. With a broader user base this could be quite helpful.

Glad to see travelers can post wait times longer than 30 minutes.

Please add a section to enter your ktn then to add to iphone wallet because sometimes my TSA pre check doesnt always post on my electronic ticket. When I go through the gate they ask for it and it takes time cuz I dont have it memorized. Also send out a notification to travelers who are at the airports with this app so they can update TSA line times.

Some useful info on TSA related general FAQ type info. Posted wait times do not differentiate between TSA pre check and regular lines. Not enough users reporting data so need to assume low number is the pre check line and the high number is for the regular line.

Its a good attempt. Wish it had more information and was more useful though.

Kept crashing. Had to reinstall. Really needs more participation to be useful. Great concept though.
